CBRE UK Property Management appoints Jon Nix as head of technology and transformation
CBRE has appointed Jon Nix to the newly created position of head of technology and transformation in its UK property management business. CBRE Property Management manages over 5,000 assets in the UK, totalling over 300 million square feet, and collecting over £3bn in rent for major global and local investor clients.
Nix joins CBRE from data analytics company FICO. His most recent role was in South Africa setting up a team of client facing business and technology consultants to work with major financial institutions. Prior to this, he specialised in implementing large scale technology and operational improvement programmes within top-tier financial organisations across EMEA.
In his new role, Nix will lead property management’s new technology and transformation team and develop strategies to better implement technology into service delivery. In addition, his team will be delivering training to support property management staff to make the best use of technology and expand skills across the business.
Emma Buckland, managing director of CBRE UK Property Management said: “With technological innovations like smart buildings and robotic process automation becoming more commonplace, technology strategy is a major focus for property management. In leading our new technology and transformation team, Jon will be crucial to helping us to deliver excellent service to our clients and ensure that our people have the right technological knowledge and skills.”
