Newly released figures highlight the destination’s strong year-to-date performance
Grosvenor Europe has signed independent lifestyle and fashion brand, Oliver Bonas, to open the brand’s first Liverpool store on Liverpool One’s Upper South John Street.
The brand’s 2,956-sq ft store will join the recently upsized Pull&Bear on upper South John Street, adjacent to John Lewis.
Coinciding with the signing of Oliver Bonas, Grosvenor Europe has revealed that Liverpool One has seen a 4.6% increase in spend per visitor in 2019. Sales have grown by 3% compared to the overall UK average of 0.7% for 2019. As 25 brands have signed, opened or renewed their leases at Liverpool One since the beginning of the year.
Alison Clegg, Grosvenor Europe’s director, asset management, said: “The brand’s strategic selection of Liverpool One, alongside these other openings and significant lease renewals, highlights Liverpool One’s status as one the UK’s leading retail and leisure-led mixed-used destinations.”
