Mobile repair shop opens at Halifax shopping centre

Mobile phones and tablet reair shop, Pocket Geek, has opened in The Woolshops Shopping Centre in Halifax.

Pocket Geek, which is an insurance-approved repair centre using licensed engineers and accredited components, has signed a five-year lease for unit  18b and it opened its doors on 11 January 11.

Managed by LCP, The Woolshops is a 52-unit, open-air centre which extends to 7.4 acres, with retail over 236,923 sq ft, plus a two-storey, 310-space car park. The 38 tenants include River Island, Boots, Poundland, Superdrug and Costa Coffee.

Phil Murphy, asset manager at Evolve Estates, which owns the centre, said: “It’s great to welcome a new, independent name to the centre and we hope Pocket Geek thrives in its new home.”

Agent acting for LCP/Evolve Estates was James Lamming of Barker Proudlove. The in-house solicitor who completed the transaction was Ruth Bourton.
