Ediston achieve a further letting at Heathfield Retail Park, Ayr

Ediston has let another unit at Heathfield retail park. The 12,000-sq ft unit 9 has been let to DSG for its new 3:1 format with Currys, PC World and Carphone Warehouse all trading under one roof.

The tenant carried out a comprehensive redevelopment of the unit, including mezzanine floor and new frontage/signage zones. As part of this redevelopment Ediston has also secured consent for the sub-division of unit 7/8 to form a new 10,000-sq ft unit, which has been let to Wren Kitchens a national gym operator bwhich will both open in autumn 2018.

Ediston’s Alastair Dickie said: “DSG is the 12th letting we have completed at this park in the last 3.5 years and the Wren and Gym lettings will take that to 14. We have seen that following widening of the planning consent and Ediston refurbishing the frontages and car parking areas as well as providing a new development of 45,000 sq. ft. of space and 6 units that we managed to attract a number of new retails and retain those with lease expiries in 2018. Our expertise in this areas has also resulted in the ERV tone move from £17 per sq. ft. to £23.00 per sq. ft. The park is now looking very busy and from retailer feedback is trading very well.”
