Grosvenor Europe and Sky have announced that Sky is opening its first ever bricks and mortar retail shop in Liverpool One.

The Sky flagship retail concept will bring Sky’s customer service and pay TV, mobile and broadband products to the UK high street, under one roof, for the first time.

The shop will have a dedicated ‘Customer Hub’, where new customers can speak to advisors about the latest Sky innovations. Existing customers will be able to speak to advisors and receive advice around their current products.

Matthew Price, retail director at Sky UK, said: “Our new Sky shop will allow us to showcase the amazing benefits Sky has to offer to new and existing customers. Liverpool really stood out to us for this debut site and we’re pleased to be able to offer a safe environment in which people can shop for the latest innovative technology from Sky. We look forward to opening our doors and sharing the full experience with customers.”

Alison Clegg, director of asset management, Grosvenor Europe, commented: “This signing, along with other recent openings at Liverpool ONE, highlights the continued importance of bricks and mortar presence for leading brands.”

CBRE and Metis acted for Liverpool ONE. Colliers International represented Sky.
