Victoria Place in Woking has announced the opening of national fitness brand The Gym Group, in Henry Plaza adjacent to Market Walk.

The Gym Group offers 24/7 access to high-spec training equipment and a variety of classes, with flexible, no-pressure monthly memberships. If a targeted fitness plan is the goal, a team of personal trainers is available to support users’ training goals.

John-Paul Jackson, centre manager, Victoria Place, said: “We are thrilled about another new opening at Victoria Place which adds another offering to the growing list of leisure operators. The Gym Group are a fantastic national brand and we are sure the 24-hour gym will be very popular here.”

Councillor Ann-Marie Barker, leader of Woking Borough Council, added: “The community is at the forefront of everything we do in Woking. Offering residents and visitors the opportunity to access an affordable, high-quality gym is a key part of that.  Victoria Place is now a stronghold of a variety of well-established brands, and the recent additions such as The Gym Group will continue to enable our town centre flourish.”

The Gym Group will be complemented in the coming months by more leisure brands, including Woking Superbowl and national performing arts school Italia Conti.
