Mrs Claus returns to Eden Shopping Centre

Mrs. Claus is returning to Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe, with her Cookie Cabin open at weekends from Saturday November 29 right through to Christmas Eve. And this year Mrs. Claus will be joined by her cheerful new gingerbread elves, Betty Biscuit and Greta Gumdrops.

Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Cabin invites visitors to bring a non-perishable food donation (such as UHT milk, cooking oil or jars of sauces), to help support local families in need. Donations can be placed in her Magic Giving Machine, which transforms each offering into a gingerbread treat to decorate.

All food donations will go directly to One Can Trust and 100% of ticket sales (£3.50 per person) will be donated to Heart of Bucks’ Together Against Poverty appeal, which provides essential one-off grants to households experiencing severe hardship and distress, including food, shelter, fuel or digital poverty. Over the last 10 years, Heart of Bucks has been helping local families in need, ensuring support reaches those who need it most.

Henry Allmand, chief executive officer at Heart of Bucks, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Eden Shopping Centre for their generous support of our Together Against Poverty appeal. Thanks to partners like Eden, we’ve been able to provide vital one-off grants to help individuals and families across Buckinghamshire facing severe hardship, offering essential support for food, housing, and fuel. Their contribution plays a real part in helping local people through times of crisis.”

Helen Foster, food supply manager at One Can Trust, said: “We’re so delighted Eden Shopping Centre has chosen to support One Can Trust once again, this time through their upcoming food donation initiative. As demand for our services continues to rise, this kind of community support makes a huge difference. We’re looking forward to working together to help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.”

And, for the first time ever, Eden will be hosting Expert-Led Cookie Decorating workshops, offering adults the chance to get creative and join in the festive fun too. Keeping on theme with all things gingerbread, participants will receive several Christmas-shaped biscuits along with all the tools and materials needed to create their own Christmas designs. The session includes guided instruction covering decorating tips and tricks. Guests will enjoy light refreshments including a mini charcuterie board courtesy of Graze Delights.

Rebecca Gomme, marketing manager at Eden Shopping Centre, said: ”It is important to us as a centre in the heart of the town, to support our local community. We have worked with Heart of Bucks throughout 2025, and we are happy that we can get our visitors involved and help continue to spread the word about the work they do as well as One Can Trust, over the festive season.

“Whether you’re visiting Mrs. Claus in her Cookie Cabin, giving back through food donations, or simply shopping for the perfect gift, we want every visit to feel special. It’s all about creating joyful moments and celebrating the season with those who matter most.”
