The Potteries Centre in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been sold to Belgate Estates.

Prior to the sale, The Potteries Centre was managed by specialist investment manager XPE Group Plc, working in partnership with property management experts Savills.

The Potteries Centre is a key retail and leisure destination at the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, offering a broad mix of national and local retailers, food and beverage operators, and leisure facilities. It remains an important commercial and community asset for the wider Stoke-on-Trent area.

The acquisition represents a strategic addition to Belgate Estates’ growing portfolio and marks the company’s eighth shopping centre acquisition to date.

Belgate Estates brings significant experience in the ownership and operation of shopping centres of this nature, with a strong track record in managing mixed-use retail environments, supporting occupiers and maintaining vibrant, well-performing destinations. This experience is expected to underpin a considered, long-term approach to the stewardship of The Potteries Centre, focused on sustaining its role as a vital hub for retailers, visitors and the local community.

A spokesperson said: “We acknowledge the work undertaken by Pradera Lateral and Savills during their period of stewardship and look forward to the next phase of the Centre’s operation under Belgate Estates’ ownership.
