Luton Point will be hosting The Luton Sleepout this March, bringing together three local charities for an overnight event designed to raise awareness of homelessness and generate funds.
Taking place on Saturday March 21, the event will see NOAH Enterprise, IMPAKT Housing & Support and Stepping Stones Luton spend the night sleeping out at Luton Point, experiencing just a small part of what many people facing homelessness endure every day.
The Sleepout is open to the wider community, with two designated sleeping locations to ensure the event is inclusive and safe for all participants.
Those aged 18 and over will sleep out on the roof of the shopping centre while under-18s will sleep inside the shopping centre.
Luton Point continues to play an active role in supporting community-led initiatives and is
encouraging individuals, families, schools, youth groups and local businesses to get involved by taking part, sponsoring a sleeper or helping spread the word.
Centre director Roy Greening said: “We are incredibly proud to be hosting The Luton Sleepout and supporting these three fantastic local charities. This event is about raising awareness, encouraging empathy and helping to generate vital funds that directly support people in our local community who need it most.”
Registration for The Luton Sleepout is now open via the event website: The Luton Sleepout 2026 | Charity Sleep Out Event.
