Livingston Designer Outlet, the largest outlet shopping destination in Scotland, has reported record-breaking sales for Black Friday week. Saturday November 30 was a historic date for the Outlet, as it welcomed the highest number of guests it has ever seen.

Reflecting on Black Friday the previous year, Livingston Designer Outlet saw an increase in sales of +17% and an increase in footfall of +23%. The brands at Livingston Designer Outlet play a huge part in its success with Nike, The North Face, Marks & Spencer, Calvin Klein and Levi’s all reporting that they’d seen their highest performing day ever at the centre, proving that consumer demand for quality products at unbeatable prices is only continuing to grow as Christmas approaches.

This year, Livingston Designer Outlet has remained focused on ensuring that guests have the best possible experience, and this is only expected to continue into next year. Asset managers, Global Mutual, have extensive plans for continued growth into the next year that will be reflected in its new openings and offerings at the Outlet.

Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and business development at Global Mutual commented: “We’ve had an incredibly successful year at Livingston Designer Outlet. When we came on as asset managers in 2023, we wanted to grow the store offering at Livingston but also wanted to understand exactly what the customers, near and afar, were looking for. We’re delighted with at we’ve achieved so far and look forward to driving this further into 2025.”
