Redical, the real estate owner and operator of The Liberty Romford, has announced the signing of children’s play space, Kids Play Village.

This will be Kids Play Village’s second and largest location. The 11,168sq ft site will house Kids Play Village’s creative mini-community, featuring 16 crafted ‘day in the life’ roleplay areas including a supermarket, police station and beauty salon, to stimulate and engage young minds. A new social hub for Romford, Kids Play Village will include a café, offering hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and more.

Daniel Tucker, leasing manager at The Liberty Romford said: “Located in the heart of the town centre, The Liberty Romford is an essential part of the community and we are committed to providing positive experiences to all those who visit our destination. Kids Play Village is an exceptional addition to our family-friendly offering, joining the likes of MINISO and The Works.”

Jayde Piro, owner and director of Kids Play Village, said: “We have been on the lookout for the perfect space for our second-ever Kids Play Village following the success of our debut location in Orpington. As an integral community hub, The Liberty Romford is the ideal destination and we are eager to open the doors to our largest space ahead of the October half-term.”

The announcement follows the news that The Liberty Romford has recently welcomed a trio of new openings at the destination. 80s Casual Classics has launched its southern debut, Lovisa has opened its latest location, while MINISO has opened the doors to its permanent store, following a successful pop-up in December 2024.
