Livingston Designer Outlet strengthens offering with new leisure experience

Global Mutual has announced the signing of leading indoor adventure park operator Flip Out at Livingston Designer Outlet, marking a significant step in the outlet’s ongoing strategy to develop its full day-out destination offering.

The new 20,000sq ft venue will be Flip Out’s second location in Scotland and will feature a broad mix of activities including trampolining, Ninja Tag, inflatables, soft play, a roller rink, party rooms and a diner.

Alongside the existing cinema, and with further openings such as Hamilton & Brown on the horizon, Flip Out will play an important role in positioning the outlet as a full-day destination where shopping, dining and entertainment come together.

Recent store announcements and upsizes from leading designer brands have already strengthened the outlet’s retail offer, and Flip Out’s debut builds on this momentum by broadening the mix to appeal to families of all ages.

Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and business development at Global Mutual said: “Flip Out’s arrival represents a significant milestone in our repositioning of Livingston Designer Outlet. Our vision is to create a destination that goes beyond retail, blending shopping with leisure and dining to deliver a best-in-class experience that stands out across the region.”

Richard Beese, co-owner of We Do Play, which operates Flip Out, said: “We are looking forward to bringing Flip Out to Livingston Designer Outlet, which will be our first location in Scotland, outside of Glasgow. The team can’t wait to bring our family-focused, adrenaline-fuelled experiences to the town.”
