Stirling Albion fans can have their photograph taken alongside the Cinch League 2 trophy next week at Thistles, Stirling.

The trophy, which was won after a 3-1 win over Annan Athletic during a thrilling game at Forthbank, will be on display at Thistles, Stirling on Wednesday August 2 between 10am and 4pm.

Supporters will be able to have their photo taken free of charge with the Binos’ first trophy since season 2009/10 ahead of their first Cinch League 1 game of the season against Edinburgh City which kicks off at 3pm on Saturday August 5.

Jim McAllister, community engagement director at Stirling Albion, said: “Lifting the Cinch League 2 trophy was a huge moment for us as a club and we’re delighted to be able to share that experience with the fans too. The summer holidays seemed like the perfect time to give supporters the opportunity to see the silverware up close and we’re looking forward to meeting as many of them as possible on Wednesday.”

Gary Turnbull, centre director at Thistles, said: “Everyone at Thistles was cheering the Binos on to League 2 victory and we’re honoured to be able to host the trophy at the centre so that our local community can join the team in celebration.”

Representatives from Stirling Albion will be outside HMV at Thistles, Stirling with the Cinch League 2 Trophy from 10am until 4pm on Wednesday August 2.
