Footwear brand makes European debut on Long Acre
The Mercers’ Company has today signed luxury and sustainable footwear brand, Allbirds, for its debut European store in 1,600 sq ft at 121-123 Long Acre, Covent Garden.
This recent opening follows the announcement that the UK’s leading specialist retailer of maps, Stanfords, will be relocating for the first time since 1901, from Long Acre to 7 Mercer Walk.
Simon Taylor, property director at the Mercers’ Company said: “Allbirds is an exceptional international brand and we are delighted that they chose this well-loved London destination for their debut European store. With a mission to further sustainability within the fashion industry, we are sure they will be hugely popular with their new customer base in the UK.”
