Entertainment concept comes to Norwich centre in April

New entertainment concept Boom: Battle Bar, a competitive socialising offer, is set to open at Castle Quarter in Norwich this April.

Boom: Battle Bar combines nine-hole mini golf, boules, darts, ping-pong, virtual reality, shooting, shuffleboard, pool and axe throwing with an urban themed bar.

The brand, which will occupy a 11,500-sq ft unit, is set to open on 10 April.

Robert Bradley, centre manager at Castle Quarter, said: “This is another great addition to the leisure offering at Castle Quarter. Boom: Battle Bar really will be an alternative attraction: we are looking forward to it opening and to seeing further increased footfall throughout the centre.”

A spokesperson for Boom: Battle Bar said: “We are so excited about coming to Castle Quarter in Norwich with our amazing new concept. This is the first Boom: Battle Bar to be opened in the UK and starts our UK-wide roll out.

“Boom: Battle Bar combines fantastic social activities with games and technology in an awesome bar environment. It will be a great place to meet up and try so many new things. We’re confident it will be the new go-to place for fun seekers in Norwich!”
