The St James Quarter has signed Lane7, the UK’s largest independent boutique bowling and gaming operator.

This latest addition to the retail, leisure and dining offer at St James Quarter will be housed in a 19,000 sq ft entertainment venue situated on Level 4 of the development. As well as bowling, existing Lane7 sites include ping-pong, urban golf, 80s-style arcade games, karaoke, beer pong, and more, with Edinburgh’s full entertainment line up yet to be announced. Each Lane7 site is designed to create the best in cocktails, beers, and grown-up gaming.

Ed Corrigan at St James Quarter, commented: “Our vision is to create the most diverse and attractive retail, leisure and F&B offering that Edinburgh has ever seen. The signing of Lane7 is a major milestone in this vision, creating the next generation in mixed-use with highly sought-after entertainment. Lane7’s exciting entertainment experience will be another reason to visit St James Quarter and the city of Edinburgh.”

Tim Wilks, founder of Lane7, said: “We’ve been to Edinburgh more times than I can remember to hunt down the perfect Lane7 location, and we’ve finally found the right spot. Lane7 has a great reputation for delivering our unique take on bowling and gaming, and our team are raring to go in this world class city. Lockdown has given us the chance to rethink and push the bar on our guest experience, we can’t wait to bring a Lane7 night out to the people of Edinburgh.”
