Developer Oakmount has commenced construction on the former Florentine Centre site.

A 25,000-sq m mixed-use development in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland will open its doors in Spring 2020. Developer Oakmount has commenced construction of the three-storey development which will comprise three anchor units, nine individual retail units, restaurant and café space, and 250 car parking spaces. The plans also incorporate the development of a new urban street – accessed from Bray Main Street – and a central plaza with pedestrian access from Quinsborough Road.

The Press Up Group has signed to operate a five-screen Stella cinema and Savills has started leasing the remaining spaxe, with one anchor unit already reserved.

Savills has been instructed as lettings agents and confirm that – in addition to the reserved anchor tenant – some substantial pre-lets have also been agreed with the market leading Press Up Group., an exciting new leisure concept, and the renowned Elephant and Castle restaurant.

Savills Director Darragh Cronin said: “The development of the Bray Town Centre will transform the retail and evening economy of Bray, where the main street has been poorly provided for due to a lack of restaurants, larger retail units and leisure offerings. The existing modern design that compliments the towns historic evolution will bring modern retailing and entertainment to this successful town.”
