Privately-owned real estate investment managers Redevco has announced Chris Fleetwood to join its UK business as Portfolio Director as of January 24, 2022.

He will be reporting to recently appointed co-head client and fund management Thierry Cahierre, who will also continue to lead the global asset and development management function.

Fleetwood, who joins from Landsec where he served as development director, will succeed Andrew Foulds who has been with Redevco for more than 10 years.

Thierry Cahierre, co-head of client and fund management at Redevco commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Chris on board. His extensive expertise of more than 30 years across occupier, agency and developer environments will be of great value to further build a strong, diversified, mixed-use portfolio in the UK and help Redevco fulfil its mission to help cities become more sustainable and liveable places.”

Chris Fleetwood said of his new role as portfolio director Redevco UK: “I am excited to start my new role in Redevco as it enters an exciting phase of expansion and diversification. I am especially looking forward to working with their professional team based out of London to help Redevco’s transition from a retail to an ‘urban domain’ specialist, re-purposing retail to mixed-use and investing in new sectors like residential and leisure & hospitality.”
