The Mercers’ Company has announced that the UK’s largest art gallery group, Clarendon Fine Art, has selected 117 Long Acre, Covent Garden, for its latest gallery experience in the capital.

The 3,500 sq ft Long Acre site joins the brand’s portfolio of over 20 galleries across the UK and is just a few miles down the road from Clarendon Fine Art’s first-ever location in Mayfair.

Set to open later in September, the Long Acre gallery space will add to the brand’s London portfolio and will offer a superb fine art experience created to reflect and enhance its community in artwork and atmosphere.

Helen Swaby, founder of Clarendon Fine Art, said: “We take great pride in selecting the perfect location for each new gallery we open, expanding our extensive London portfolio. We have always held Covent Garden in high regard and wanted to ensure we select the ideal prime unit to complement our current portfolio. ”

Simon Taylor, property director at the Mercers’ Company, added: “Clarendon Fine Art offer inspiring modern and contemporary pieces at a time when Londoners are looking for inspiration to take home, and we are pleased to welcome this unique and dynamic gallery to Covent Garden.”

Hanover Green acted on behalf of the Mercers’ Company and Powell Rose represented Clarendon Fine Art.
