Colliers instructed to manage Solihull shopping centre

Colliers International’s Investment Property Management (IPM) team has been instructed by privately-owned investor developer, IM Properties, to take over the property management of its 627,000 sq ft shopping centre, Mell Square, in Solihull, Birmingham.

The IPM division, based in Colliers International’s Birmingham office, will be managing 90 retail units, three office buildings and the new food and beverage destination in the central square which is occupied by three independent food and drink brands Green’s, Vita and Taste Collective.

Sophie Orme, director in Colliers International’s Investment Property Management division, commented: “We have a strong reputation for managing properties – in excess of 40 shopping centres and retail parks across the country. Our experienced and stable team of experts are able to support our clients to develop Mell Square into a shopping destination of choice for everyone.”

Rob Hemus, asset director for IM Properties, said: “Colliers’ retail expertise and passion for shopping centres were deciding factors in appointing them. I have been really impressed by their enthusiasm and drive to get the job done well and the personal pride and dedication of the property management professionals in their team.”
