Dalton Park recently partnered with Selfie Central to host a Selfie experience event. From floral fireplaces to pink pianos, the immersive selfie sets at the pop-up event provided bright and beautiful backgrounds for 1000s of photos and videos during the week-long initiative.

Over the course of the sold out event, Dalton Park’s pop-up selfie shop welcomed over 330 visitors, taking over 3000 selfies and countless social uploads.

Jerry Hatch, Realm’s centre manager for Dalton Park, explains: “Dalton Park is well known for holding quirky events and hosting popular attractions; we strive to put the customer experience first and add value to every visit. With non-essential retail having only recently reopened – it’s been lovely to welcome people back with fun events and installations such as this.

“Safety is our top priority so we had all the relevant precautions in place. We also established a booking system for the selfie event to avoid disappointment, and to make sure we could follow all the cleaning and social distancing requirements. Slots of 25 minutes were available to book, for up to six people.

Danae Abadom, co-founder of Selfie Central said: “Dalton Park was a great venue to host the pop-up selfie shop with free parking and lots of places to eat and drink, as well as shop! The event was really popular and we were delighted to help visitors of all ages get their picture perfect shot.

“The most popular set seemed to be the lilac flower place room and people were able to capture great content and produce some really fun TikToks. The event has had an overwhelming positive feedback across social media which is always lovely to see.”
