    Four jump into the Springs

    Thorpe Park Leeds retail park continues to secure big brands

    Scarborough International Properties and Legal & General have signed leases with four retailers at the 350,000-sq ft Springs retail and leisure destination at Thorpe Park, Leeds. Fat Face is taking a 3,400-sq ft unit; JD Sports 5,450 sq ft, Mountain Warehouse 5,000 sq ft and Card Factory 1,100 sq ft of space.

    The new retailers will join other confirmed brands including H&M, Nando’s, M&S, Next, TK Maxx, Outfit, Boots, Odeon and Pure Gym.

    Thorpe Park Leeds is an established mixed-use developmentwith 800,000 sq ft of space built and occupied to date, including 600,000 sq ft of offices. Phase two includes the 350,000-sq ft retail and leisure park as well as a further 900,000 sq ft of office accommodation, 300 new homes and a 113-acre public park with sports facilities.

    Phase two also includes delivery of the first section of the East Leeds Orbital Road and the new East Leeds Parkway station and Park and Ride.

    Rachel Dickie, head of urban regeneration at Legal & General Capital, said: “It is fantastic to see further well-known brands come to The Springs, our new retail and leisure destination, at Thorpe Park Leeds. Thorpe Park Leeds is really coming to life as a unique and progressive mixed-use community.”
