Grosvenor has announced the signing of a golf simulation concept, On The Green, for its first ever site at Liverpool One.

Founded in Liverpool, On The Green has signed up for a 4,700 sq ft space on The Terrace for its debut venue. Set to launch once Covid-19 lockdown restrictions are lifted, the immersive golf experience has been designed with both professional and novice golfers in mind.

On the Green’s technology allows customers to play a full 18-hole round of golf with a real club and golf ball, providing active analysis on spin rate, projection and club swings while PGA professionals are available to offer lessons to complete beginners or those wanting to hone their skills.

The multi-faceted golf concept will enable users to play a number of the world’s top courses within a relaxed and informal environment. On The Green will also provide top brand golfing equipment for use whilst in the simulators to ensure accessibility for all, bolstering the comprehensive golfing experience.

Alison Clegg, Director of Asset Management at Grosvenor Group, commented: “Securing the debut for On The Green’s new experiential concept is a great way for Liverpool One to herald in the new year, and further establishes our position as a leading destination.”

Matt Hatchard, director at On The Green, added: “We were selective when searching for the perfect location at which to launch On The Green, and Liverpool One, with its outstanding mix of leisure names, open-air environment and attractive terrace, really stood out to us. We wanted to work with a destination that supported our vision of delivering a premium indoor golf simulation concept, bar and terrace, and Liverpool ONE has strongly supported us on this front.”

Metis and Savills acted for Liverpool One. On The Green dealt directly.
