Savers and Choize to open stores at the Centre

Hines has secured two new lettings at the Centre, Livingston. Health, home and beauty, discount retailer Savers and perfumery Choize will join over 160 retailers at the million-sq ft shopping and leisure destination.

Savers is to open a 3,367-sq ft store in October on a 10-year lease. And Choize will be opening a 1,154-sq ft store on a 10-year lease in November. The offer at Tthe Centre, Livingston has recently been boosted by the opening of River Island Kids which followed the retailer taking an additional 3,000, sq ft and extending its lease for a further 10 years. In November, H&M also will be opening its new, upsized 24,800 sq ft store.

New lettings and a recent reduction in car park tariffs have helped to boost footfall to 15.7 million visitors per annum. Hines is also currently refurbishing the Almondvale West retail park which sits adjacent to the Centre. The £3.5m programme will enhance the buildings and public realm to include new wayfinding, glazed facades and car park resurfacing.

Eric Young & Co and Savills act on behalf of Hines and Culverwell represented Savers.
