JLL has appointed Senior Client Partner Stephanie Hyde as new CEO of its UK business with effect from April, 2021.

Ms Hyde, who currently leads large global client accounts, has been at PwC for 25 years. During her time at the firm, she delivered growth across multiple business lines, developed client programmes in the UK and globally, and ran PwC’s industry programme with a key focus on technology, transformation and sustainability.

As Chairman, Chris Ireland will support Ms Hyde’s transition into the new role and the UK client teams dealing with both investors and occupiers. r Ireland became the UK CEO in 2016.  Under his tenure JLL has grown in both transactional markets and new areas of expertise including Sustainability Services and ESG, Debt Advisory and Life Sciences. An industry stalwart having been at JLL for over 40 years, Chris is a strong advocate of rising talent and inclusive and collaborative teams.

Andy Poppink, EMEA Markets, CEO, said: “We are really excited to welcome Stephanie to JLL. Her experience in driving growth and transformation strategies for large businesses and leading diverse teams will be invaluable to our clients and people.

“Chris Ireland’s leadership over the last five years has been instrumental to the growth and transformation of JLL in the UK. The UK is a key strategic market and Chris will play an important part in its continued success as he helps us ensure a smooth transition.”

Stephanie Hyde, incoming UK CEO, JLL, commented: “The business community is looking to the real estate industry to help them solve critical questions on sustainability, quality of living and working environments. There is huge opportunity for JLL to be at the forefront of these conversations with investors and corporates. I am thrilled to be joining JLL and I look forward to building on the great work Chris and the rest of the team have done over the years.”

Chris Ireland, UK CEO, JLL, added: “Stephanie is an excellent appointment. Her key attributes include the ability to understand client priorities and bring teams together to respond behind common goals. Having someone from outside the real estate industry, will provide a fresh perspective as we focus on harnessing technology to partner with clients. This is an exciting time for JLL, and I look forward to working with Stephanie in supporting both our clients and our people.”
