Landsec has announced the signing of The Real Greek, the contemporary Aegean restaurant, at Bluewater, taking Bluewater’s Plaza to full occupancy.

The Real Greek, currently the UK’s only group of authentic Greek restaurants, will launch the Bluewater outlet later this month; a 155-cover, 3,900 sq ft space designed with the operator’s unique Eastern Mediterranean style.

Rob Hardie, portfolio director for co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, Landsec, commented: “Having The Plaza fully let is a clear indication of the appeal of Bluewater for operators, as well as the strength and relevance of F&B in leading retail destinations.

“Adding new concepts such as The Real Greek is in-line with our strategy to broaden the range of cuisines on offer to our guests, especially in The Plaza, our fast-casual dining hub.”

Nabil Mankarious, managing director at The Real Greek, added: “We’re delighted to be opening our 21st outlet in Bluewater and to be the first Greek restaurant to operate within the destination. We’re proud to continue to thrive as the industry recovers from the pandemic and we are confident that this location will add to our success and further expand our presence on a great scale.”

    Shelley Sandzer acted for Landsec.
