Stuart Burdon-Bailey, former head of leisure at CSP, has launched Edit Leisure, a new leisure advisory business specialising in leasing, development, consultancy, asset management and tenant representation.

With over 20 years’ experience in the property and leisure industry, Burdon-Bailey aims to offer landlords strategic development and leasing advice.

Edit Leisure also plans to support regional and national occupiers by providing expertise in a wide scope of areas, ranging from site acquisitions and disposals to leasebacks and lettings.

Burdon-Bailey’s career has involved working within global consultancy firms such as CBRE and JLL.  Throughout his career, Burdon-Bailey has acted for some of the most respected leisure brands, investment funds and developers in the UK.

Stuart Burdon-Bailey, founder of Edit Leisure, commented: “The leisure sector experienced huge disruption during the pandemic, but remains a vital part of our social fabric, as evidenced by its ability to recover so quickly.

“I will use my experience and deep market knowledge to create opportunities for established and emerging concepts as the industry rebuilds and evolves.  There is so much diversity in this exciting sector, and it is constantly reinventing itself by challenging customer expectations and cultivating new business models.”

Edit Leisure is based in Manchester, but works across the UK, building strong relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their business to help them achieve their aims.

He added: “Edit Leisure’s ethos reflects the verb itself – to revise, improve, modify and add.  I am proud to have been involved with some great businesses during my career, and I’m delighted to be using my expertise in a new venture to convert client objectives into tangible results.”
