Wembley Park has had to extend the deadline for its ‘Live Like Your Favourite Musician’ competition after an interview with BBC London led to a surge in applications.

The winner will get the chance to rub shoulders with music royalty at a concert of their choice at Wembley Stadium or the Arena, as well as an ‘access all areas’ stadium tour. They will also receive the red carpet treatment with dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, a £500 shopping experience and an overnight stay at a luxury Quintain Living apartment.

The original deadline for entries was June 30 but it has been extended to July 8.

Richard Poyser, head of retail at Wembley Park, said: “Wembley Park prides itself on being one of London’s most exciting new neighbourhoods. Home to two of the most iconic music venues that continue to host global award-winning artists, the neighbourhood has expanded in the last few years and welcomed retailers, restauranteurs and residents who all now call Wembley Park home.

“We’re excited to give one applicant the chance to live like their favourite musician this summer and hope this role can help us create a neighbourhood where music lovers can immerse themselves in everything Wembley Park has to offer.”
