Tile retailer signs up for showroom in the heart of Chelsea

Sloane Stanley has today announced that leading tile retailers, Mandarin Stone, have signed for a 1,233 sq ft showroom space at 255 Fulham Road, in the heart of Chelsea. The brand is due to open their store in January 2020, marking its second London location after Primrose Hill.

Mandarin Stone’s location of Fulham Road as it’s latest unit will expand the brand’s UK portfolio to 12 showrooms. The Chelsea showroom will display all of their entire collection, ranging from limestone and marble, concrete and marble effect porcelains through more decorative tiles and outdoor surfaces.

The store coincides with the planned opening of an additional showroom in Tunbridge Wells in January 2020, which will take Mandarin Stone’s total offering to 13 showrooms later next year.

Commenting on the news, Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley said: “Mandarin Stone is an exciting addition to Fulham Road, offering high quality, stylish products that will have strong appeal amongst our Chelsea residents and visitors. We are confident that the store will be reflective of the brands creativity and appeal, and therefore will be a great match to our widely recognised and acclaimed destination.”

Alma Small, founder and managing director of Mandarin Stone: “Our opening in Chelsea marks another brilliant milestone for Mandarin Stone within our 30 year history. Having always had aspirations to open in West London, and particularly within the beating heart of luxury design in Chelsea, it’s a real triumph for our brand’s expansion to have sealed this deal.”

Savills and Miles Commercial represented Sloane Stanley. Mandarin Stone represented themselves.
