MINISO, a design-led lifestyle retail store for all the family, will open at Metrocentre on Friday October 7 at 12pm.

Offering a full range of toys, tech, stationery, accessories, homeware, food and health and beauty products, MINISO has exclusive partnerships with brands such as Disney, Toy Story, Minions and We Bare Bears.

The store at Metrocentre will be the brand’s fourth franchise in the UK and the 12th store overall. There will be a number of activities to mark the launch, including a surprise character appearance and gifts with purchase (worth over £25) for the first 200 customers. The store will be located on the ground floor of Exhibition Square, opposite Primark.

Saad Usman, COO at MINISO UK, said: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of our store at Metrocentre. We believe that the opening of this store, our first in the region, is the perfect place for us to continue our expansion in the UK.”

“At MINISO UK, we’re committed to getting the retail industry back on its feet, demonstrated not only by the investment into our fantastic new store, but also the creation of 10-15 new jobs in the local market.

Tom Nuttall, leasing and asset manager for Metrocentre at Sovereign Centros, said, “MINISO UK is an exciting and welcomed addition to the Centre. With a unique product offering, we are confident it will provide customers with a one-of-a-kind retail experience and complement our extensive mix of international brands and high street favourites.

“MINISO will shortly be joined by a standalone Jo Malone boutique with further exciting new stores to be announced in the coming weeks.”
