Central London sites draw new brands

The Crown Estate’s Central London portfolio has signed a number of new concepts and international-firsts.

On Regent Street Sandro menswear is to open a new flagship store at 141 Regent Street adjacent to its existing womenswear store at 137-139 Regent Street. This is the ninth new signing for the Central London portfolio in recent months.

Mulberry has opened its new flagship store at 100 Regent Street. Mulberry’s 5,000 sq ft Regent Street presence is situated in a prime location on the corner of Regent Street and Glasshouse Street, and spans the ground and basement levels.

And at 33 Regent Street St James’s, Realbuzz has created a global flagship store and ‘clubhouse’ which brings together curated collections of premium sportswear and technology, with a host of fitness experiences including classes, clubs, training plans and talks from experts across multiple fields.

South Korean eye wear brand Gentle Monster has opened its first European store at 28-29 Argyll St, and US wellness centre Glow Bar has opened at on Mortimer Street, just off Regent Street.

The Crown Estate’s retail lead in Central London, Katerina Mercury, said: “We are delighted to have welcomed a host of new brands across Regent Street and St James’s this year, alongside the iconic retailers and experiences for which the West End is famous. Each of our retailers and restaurants offers something unique; be it a brand, product or experience that you cannot get anywhere else, and each one contributes to our ongoing ambition to curate the very best mix of retailers and restaurants in London.”
