British children’s literary character Paddington Bear is set to take centre stage at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway this Christmas was part of the Bristol retail destination’s ‘Cribbs’ Christmas with Paddington’ event.

Visitors will be invited on an immersive journey through snowy festive trees and famous scenes, including an interactive dolls house and Paddington’s famous attic window.

Visitors will get to ‘tip toe across Christmas night-time rooftops’, before being transported to the hallway of the Browns’ house, to meet the bear himself.

Alongside the grotto experience, families will also be able to ice skate at the soon-to-open and much anticipated Planet Ice, which will open its doors on the 25th of October.

Lizzie Taylor from The Mall at Cribbs Causeway commented: “We are honoured to be hosting Paddington and Father Christmas at our grotto this year. Christmas is such an important time of the year for everyone at Cribbs and we are thrilled to have such a special experience for our many loyal shoppers and local families. We are also excited to collaborate again with the amazing team at Bakehouse Factory. We are passionate about supporting local businesses and Bakehouse are an important part of our community.”
