    Pasta brand miscusi launches flagship in Covent Garden

    Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, has announced that Italy’s favourite pasta restaurant, miscusi, has officially opened its debut UK flagship location and first restaurant outside of Italy at The Yards, Covent Garden.

    miscusi’s 4,190 sq ft debut UK restaurant opening at 23 Slingsby Place, launches the first phase of the brand’s international expansion across Europe and joins its 12 sites in Italy.

    miscusi Covent Garden is the UK’s first restaurant to introduce a new concept that rewards customers for choosing dishes that are good for the planet.

    Centred around seasonal produce, miscusi’s menu champions biodiversity using a variety of grains and ingredients that are essential to supporting the ecosystem. The menu features signature dishes including ‘Pacchero Tricolore’, ‘Cacio Pepe Funghi’ and ‘Rigatoni Tonno e Pistacchi’, celebrating traditional pasta artistry to 163 covers.

    Alberto Cartasegna, miscusi CEO, commented: “We are immensely proud to have created the industry’s first loyalty scheme that rewards diners for making environmentally friendly choices with their food. The miscusi London flagship location is a huge milestone for us; being our first-ever restaurant outside of Italy. Pasta lovers can now find miscusi in the beating heart of London and we couldn’t have asked for a more exclusive location than The Yards.”

    Commenting on behalf of Longmartin Properties Ltd, Simon Taylor, property director at the Mercers’ Company said: “Through our continued investment and commitment to the area, The Yards has become a large contributor to Covent Garden’s leading day and night-time economy. Our highly curated selection of brands has created a dynamic, all-day restaurant hub and miscusi is an exceptional international addition to the community.”

    CBRE is the asset manager on behalf of Longmartin Properties and Colliers and DCL acted for The Yards. miscusi represented themselves.
