London City fringe property advisor Belchak Corin & Co has announced it has rebranded as Belcor with effect from today (22 March).

The advisory business operates across all commercial sectors including; office, retail, leisure, industrial and investment in the dynamic sub-markets of Spitalfields, Shoreditch, Dalston, Hackney and Whitechapel and the new brand identity aims to reflect the creativity and innovation found within the business.

In addition, Oliver Cohen, who joined as a leasing specialist in 2012, has been announced as a partner.

Since joining the company Cohen has earned the reputation has been involved in a number of influential transactions in the city fringe, including deals with global brands such as Beats by Dre, Gucci, Travelex, J.Lindeberg, Fat Llama, as well as a number of Shoreditch deals with high profile companies such as David Beckham’s E-Sports team Guild, Pret A Manger, Costa Coffee and Goose Island.

Cohen will sit alongside founding partner Paul Belchak, who launched the company in 2009, and Greg Corin, who became a partner in 2017.

The promotion forms part of Belcor wider expansion plans. Later this year, in June, the company will move from its current head office at 34 Artillery Lane to a bigger site, as it builds on its 12-strong team.

Paul Belchak said of the rebrand: “The new identity and expansion plan showcases the dynamism and youthful approach within our business while also recognising our heritage as longstanding experts in the eastern City fringe.“

Greg Corin commented on Mr Cohen’s promotion: “Oli has made a significant contribution to the business and his promotion to partner is in line with our continuing policy of recognising personal achievement and commitment to our business.”
