Grosvenor Britain & Ireland (GBI) has announced that Rituals, the luxury bath, body and home brand, is set to join Liverpool One, marking its first location in the city.

Opening early next year, the 1,700 sq ft store located on South John Street, will showcase Rituals’ full collection of bath, body and home products, ranging from skin and body care to scented candles and fragrance sticks.

Penny Grivea, managing director for UK & Ireland at Rituals, said: “Rituals is truly committed to growing its UK retail presence and Liverpool One forms a key part of this expansion. We have wanted to extend our reach in Northern England and Liverpool One’s continued high footfall and sales, as well as its variety of choice and complementary operators, makes it the ideal destination.”

Alison Clegg, managing director of asset management at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, added: “Operating in the ever-growing wellness industry, Rituals is a great addition to Liverpool One and further demonstrates the popularity of the destination for major retail brands. Over the course of the year we have shown there is very strong demand for physical retail space, and Rituals will compliment our diverse offering.”

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool One. Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Rituals.
