Trevor Woods Associates crowns Savills as leading letting and management agent

Savills has been named the UK’s leading shopping centre letting agent for the second year running and retained its position as the top shopping centre managing agent for the fourth consecutive year in the latest ranking from Trevor Wood Associates.

The annual survey, Going Shopping 2020 – The Definitive Guide to Shopping Centres, ranks the top UK shopping centres in terms of overall attractiveness alongside league tables of agents, tenants and investment managers.

Savills has been climbing the league table for several years, taking third place in 2016 and second place in 2017 before reaching the top spot last year with shopping centre instructions totalling circa 40 million sq ft across almost 140 schemes.

The firm also manages more than 35m sq ft of shopping centre space in the UK for clients including La Salle Investment Management, RDI REIT, Kennedy Wilson Europe and Ellandi.

Stuart Moncur, head of national retail at Savills, commented: “We are delighted with this industry recognition which highlights Savills market leadership in shopping centre leasing and the hard work of our national retail team based across the UK.”

Graeme Clark, head of shopping centre management at Savills, added: “This has been another successful year for the team with more new clients and shopping centre instructions gained.  We look forward to continuing this positive momentum in 2020.”
