Private investment manager, Signal Capital has acquired Castle Court Shopping Centre in Caerphilly and appointed asset and property management specialist ESTAMA UK as asset and property manager of the centre.

With over 83,000sq ft, consisting of 28 prime retail units, the addition of Castle Court Shopping Centre comes as part of ESTAMA UK’s commitment to the development and growth of its schemes throughout the UK. Underpinned by core tenants including Poundland, WH Smith, JD Sports and Heron Foods, the scheme will play a key role in ESTAMA UK’s continued focus on the retail sector as it strives to ensure that its centres offer genuine solutions for local communities.

The centre is set to play a key role in the continual regeneration of Caerphilly, as the local authority aims to drive increased tourist footfall to the town over the next five years.

ESTAMA UK has experienced tremendous growth over the last 12 months with six new shopping centres coming under its management, taking its portfolio to a current total of 14 schemes. Across each of the centres, ESTAMA provides the asset management, property management and financial accounting services.

Castle Court joins Motherwell Shopping Centre, The Guineas Shopping Centre (Newmarket), Quadrant Shopping Centre (Dunstable), Aberfan Shopping Centre (Port Talbot) and Orchard Shopping Centre (Taunton) as the newest assets under ESTAMA UK’s management portfolio.
