Sovereign Centros, the shopping centre asset and development manager, has bolstered its business with four senior appointments.

Mark Stapleton joins as an asset manager, having previously served at CBRE where he was an associate director managing retail and mixed-use assets.

Mike Egerton has joined as a senior asset manager to work across a variety of the team’s projects. His previous role was in the restaurant and leisure team at Hammerson Plc advising on the company’s key assets.

Alistair Winning and Lesya Horchin have joined from Ellandi.

Winning works as an asset manager for Merry Hill. With over 20 years experience, he worked in the asset management team for Ellandi and prior to that six years at Intu Properties Plc.

Horchin is a client management accountant with responsibility for the day-to-day accounting management.

Chris Geaves, chief executive of Sovereign Centros said: “This is a very active and interesting time in the retail marketplace for us where our investor partners and lenders require carefully thought out strategies to navigate business plans to best effect. These new additions strengthen our team to ensure that we continue to provide best in class support and advice“.

Sovereign Centros asset manages over 12 million sq ft of shopping centre and out of town retail space, including Metro Centre and Merry Hill.
