The Brunswick Shopping Centre, opposite Russell Square tube station in London, is celebrating the spookiest month of the year with a multitude of free Halloween events starting from Thursday October 13.

The shopping, arts and dining venue will be creating its first ever pumpkin patch installation in the middle of the centre for visitors to take the ultimate selfie. The centre will also be showing ghostly projections onto the exterior of the centre on October 21, 28 and 29 between 6pm and 9pm to get people into the spooky season.

Plus, on Saturday October 29, between 4.30pm and 8.30pm, there will be The Brunswick’s free Halloween extravaganza event. Cruella and Beetlejuice impersonators will be mingling with shoppers, and there will be stilt walkers in creepy costumes roaming the centre. Visitors can also get turned into their favourite Halloween character by the centre’s free face-painters.

John Themis, marketing manager at The Brunswick said: “We’ve held Halloween events in the past, but this is the first year we’ve gone all out – putting on events throughout the month, which should appeal to all our shoppers. We know people are feeling the pinch so all activity will be completely free for everyone to enjoy. We also hope to see people arriving at the centre in Halloween costumes – as the best costumes will win a free gaming session at Funland!”
