Vegan fast food chain to debut at Hanningtons Estate
Growing vegan fast food restaurant chain, The Vurger Co., is opening at Hanningtons Estate, Brighton, in April.
The sustainability-focused restaurant, which has two existing stores in Shoreditch and Canary Wharf, is making its first venture outside London having signed a long term lease on a 700 sq ft store at 13 Brighton Place
Neil Potts, co-founder at The Vurger Co. commented: “`We know many of our London customers commute from, or visit Brighton regularly, and that there is a demand for innovative, plant-based food.” He added: “All of the packaging in our restaurant is made from plants and is 100% compostable; we have a zero to landfill policy.”
Andrew Foulds, managing director at Redevco commented: “The Vurger Co will be a fantastic addition to the Estate and has a prominent corner position at the entrance to the new Hanningtons Lane. It will be housed in part of the former Hanningtons Department store, which has been lovingly restored.”
