The SCEPTRES had another record year when it came to entries, with nearly 300 received from across the shopping centre industry – and the finalists have now been announced. You can see them at www.sceptre-awards.co.uk/finalists/
When the judges met to discuss the entries, they were amazed by the number and delighted by the quality.
“Many of the entrants really went above and beyond to show exactly what they have achieved,” said one judge. Another added: “Such was the high standard of entries that it was really tough having to make a decision.”
    The categories:
Car Park of the Year, sponsored by Waves
    Christmas Campaign of the Year
Community Initiative of the Year, sponsored by Hub Parking
Technology, which once again – due to the volume of entries – is split into three categories: the Midlands, the North and the South, with the overall winner taken from one of these regions.
Customer Service Team of the Year, sponsored by FMS
Diversity & Inclusion Scheme of the Year, sponsored by Zest
Innovation of the Year, sponsored by ITVET
Manager of the Year – Large Venue, sponsored by ME Group
Manager of the Year – Medium Venue, sponsored by Shoppertainment
Manager of the Year – Small Venue, sponsored by Scheidt & Backmann
Marketing Manager of the Year, sponsored by Toolbox Marketing
Operations Manager of the Year, sponsored by ITVET
Retail Liaison Award, sponsored by Twin
Security Team of the Year, sponsored by Premier Park
Sustainability Initiative of the Year, sponsored by Modern Networks
    Young Achiever of the Year.
Principal sponsor of the SCEPTRE event is Vergo.

    The venue:
Due to the popularity of the SCEPTRE Awards, the event is moving to a bigger and better venue this year: the Royal Lancaster in London on Wednesday, October 9. It’s a fantastic event celebrating the best of the best in this powerhouse industry.
