Redical’s Victoria Leeds has announced the opening of luxury skincare brand, Aesop, marking the brand’s first store opening in 2025 and debut in the North of England.

Aesop has joined Victoria Leeds with a 753sq ft unit alongside fellow best-in-class beauty brands, Le Labo, L’Occitane, and Molton Brown in the Grade II listed Victoria Quarter. This latest opening follows a standout year for health and beauty at Victoria Leeds, with a 15% increase in sales across the category in 2024 compared to 2023.

Aesop Victoria Leeds delivers the Australian-born brand’s full fragrance, skin, hair and body care range across a sequence of three rooms. Inspired by the opulent bathrooms of the late Victoria era, the store features timber-panelled cabinets and vintage stacked bookshelves.

Rachel Bradburn, leasing director at Victoria Leeds, commented: “Welcoming Aesop as our first store opening of 2025 sets an exciting precedent for what is to come at Victoria Leeds this year. We celebrated a successful 2024 which cemented us as the go to destination for luxury brand debuts outside of London, further evidenced by Aesop’s decision to open their first Northern store with us. 2025 looks to be another year of brand firsts, new and exciting concepts, as well as enhanced customer and brand offerings, so watch this space!”

This latest announcement follows the news that Victoria Leeds bucked national trends in 2024, celebrating successful performance that saw December and annual sales increases, record-breaking footfall, notable new brand signings, as well as several refits and upsizes.

Lunson Mitchenall and Central Retail acted for Victoria Leeds and Bruce Gillingham Pollard represented Aesop.
