Berksha opens at the Trafford Centre

Bershka has opened its largest store in the UK, at the Trafford Centre.

The 1200 m² space is divided into three independent sections for the brand’s Bershka, BSK and Man collections. It is also showcasing two exclusive previews of the upcoming women’s activewear range and the men’s Ecko collaboration.

Developed in Barcelona by Castel Estudio, together with Bershka’s internal design team, the store concept aims to integrate the building’s architecturally significant interior with the “Bershka Datum” store prototype. A chromatic and material study has been carried out to ensure a neutral space, while noble woods, ceramic finishes and even stone surfaces interact with the existing space, placing the spotlight on the clothing itself.

With various stand-out features across the store’s architecture, lighting and sound systems, Berksha has utilised cutting-edge technological advances to create a unique shopping experience. Available exclusively at Berksha Trafford Centre for a limited time, is a new augmented reality experience, ‘AR Mirrors’, which was created by Berksha in collaboration with FFFACE.ME and Snapchat.

AR Mirrors is a ground-breaking retail project in which two mirrors with AR technology allow you to try on products through different filters created exclusively by the brand, just by standing in front of them. In addition, by scanning the QR on the AR mirrors, customers can access the Digital Fitting Room on the Berksha app where they can use these, or other filters available on their mobile phones, and share the content directly on their social media profiles.
