Gunwharf Quays has welcomed several brands this month including wellness cafe, Maddie’s, British fashion retailers, White Stuff and Crew Clothing and environmentally conscious brand, Lucy & Yak.
?Local independent café, Maddie’s, is now open opposite Ralph Lauren. Founded on the principle of creating mindful rituals, Maddie’s specialises in premium ceremonial-grade matcha as well as high-quality, ethically sourced brews, juices and freshly made treats.
Located opposite M&S, both White Stuff and Crew Clothing opened on February 12 in new units formed as part of the outlet’s Marlborough Square transformation.
The 1,621sqft White Stuff store marks a return to the outlet for the brand. Meanwhile, Crew Clothing has relocated to a unit almost double the size of its previous store, at 2,153sqft.
Sustainable fashion and lifestyle brand, Lucy & Yak, opened its 1,115sqft store on Friday, February 20, located opposite Tommy Hilfiger. The store offers the brand’s selection of exclusive (Im)perfect Yaks, hidden gems, and Re:Yakked items in the region for the first time.
Yvonne Clay, centre director at Gunwharf Quays, commented: “We are delighted to announce the opening of such a diverse range of brands to kick start 2026.
“It’s incredibly exciting to be able to provide independent businesses with the opportunity to grow within a prime retail destination like Gunwharf Quays, and Maddie’s brings a unique wellness concept to our lineup that we’ve never offered before.
“The return of White Stuff and the upsize of Crew Clothing to our newly developed Marlborough Square units also marks a really exciting moment for us, and Lucy & Yak is the perfect finishing touch.”
Maddie Boiardini, owner of Maddie’s, added: “Maddie’s was born from my travels, where I fell in love with the ritual, calm and wellness-focused culture surrounding matcha and coffee. Since then, I have sought to bring the sense of balance and mindful living back to the UK, making high-quality matcha and coffee more accessible while still honouring its roots.
“I’m thrilled to have joined Gunwharf Quays’ lineup and to be able to share my love of slow living, wellness and beautifully crafted drinks with visitors from near and far.”
