Mango has opened at Braehead Shopping Centre today (September 12).

The new Mango store spans 500sq m, making it the largest in the city. The launch reflects the brand’s strategic commitment to the Scottish market as part of its ambitious UK expansion plans, which includes over 20 store openings planned for 2024.

The store features the brand’s innovative “New Med” concept, which is inspired by the warmth and allure of the Mediterranean. Sustainability and architectural integration are key to this new design, which regards the Mango stores as a Mediterranean home with different spaces which include warm tones and neutral colours, combined with traditional, handcrafted, sustainable and natural materials.

Ashley Bisland, centre director at Braehead Shopping Centre, said: “Mango is a significant addition to Braehead Shopping Centre. The opening highlights our ongoing strategy to diversify and enrich our retail portfolio, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed the evolving expectations of our shoppers.

“Mango’s decision to establish its largest store in our city at Braehead, highlights the strength and appeal of our centre as a key retail hub in Scotland.”
