Essex-based outlet shopping destination, Braintree Village, has announced the arrival of two new brands; family-friendly value retailer, The Works, and luxury menswear brand, Malford of London.

The new The Works store is now open and is located opposite Julian Charles. The 2,200sq ft store showcases an array of arts and crafts products, alongside stationery, toys, games and puzzle books, all at outlet prices.

Luxury formalwear brand Malford of London opened on October 1, and is situated next to Polo Ralph Lauren. The store offers a curated collection of premium menswear, featuring sought-after brands including Thomas Pink and Bernard Weatherill.

Josef O’Sullivan, centre director at Braintree Village, commented: “Here at Braintree Village, we’re always looking for ways to elevate our offering and ensure we cater to a wide range of customer needs. The arrival of The Works and Malford of London are perfectly timed as we head towards the festive season, offering guests a range of new options to shop, whether they’re looking for high-end tailoring or great value gifts for the whole family.”

These new openings follow the arrival of Italian eatery Gelato é Ciambella and Cappadocia Moments at the outlet. Gelato é Ciambella is located next to Samsonite, offering winter warmers and sweet treats including hot chocolate, mulled wine and hot donuts. Meanwhile, Cappadocia Moments’ kiosk next to Julian Charles sells handmade waffles, crepes, and more, including Dubai chocolate covered strawberries.

Moss has also recently reopened following a store refurbishment.
