Pakistani brand Sapphire, renowned for its premium quality fabrics and on-trend designs, is set to open its first UK store in The Broadway, in Bradford, this autumn.

Its mission is to redefine fashion with continuous innovation and deliver inspirational experiences in a responsible way, tailored to the modern customer’s lifestyle. The company is deeply committed to providing high quality, trend-leading designs and delivering superior customer service.

Christina Beggan, asset management director at Ellandi, now a NewRiver company, said: “Using a data-led approach, we got under the skin of the centre and Bradford itself to understand the needs and aspirations of the customer. We’ve curated an occupier mix that is truly diverse and inclusive and reflects the needs and wants of our customers and visitors.  Sapphire’s decision to open its first UK store ahead of other major cities demonstrates a real vote of confidence in The Broadway and in Bradford itself.”

“Launching our first store in the UK at The Broadway is a proud moment for us,” said Imran Choudhery, international chief operating officer of Sapphire. “We are excited to bring our unique blend of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary style to the UK audience, and Bradford’s vibrant community is the perfect place to start.”

The Broadway prides itself on its extensive collection of over 80 retail stores, more than 20 eateries, and a six-screen boutique cinema. Looking ahead to City of Culture 2025, The Broadway is the key destination in the city centre, aiming to attract visitors from a wide geographic area, providing a comprehensive and diverse offer of retail, leisure, entertainment, dining, services and experiences.
