Asian Supermarket, Starry Mart, is set to open its fifth UK-based store this Saturday, May 17 at Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth. The 5,200sq ft store, set over two floors, will be located on Garrett Lane next to Parthian Climbing.
Starry Mart is an independent retail brand specialising in a diverse range of food and lifestyle products sourced directly from across Asia. It stocks an extensive selection of high-quality food and beverages from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam alongside a collection of homewares, personal care items and lifestyle goods.
The store will also offer freshly baked pastries and hot buns, bringing the authentic flavours of Asian bakeries to the heart of Wandsworth.
With more than 15 years of experience, Starry Mart has expanded from its well-established online store, known for its selection of authentic Asian products, to physical retail locations in Canterbury, Colchester and Fulham.
To celebrate the store opening, Starry Mart will be hosting an official ribbon cutting at 1pm on May 17. There will also be tasting events taking place over the opening weekend along with exclusive promotions and giveaways.

Southside’s multi-million-pound refresh has made significant enhancements to both the interior and exterior of the centre, combining modern aesthetics with community heritage. The works included the remodelling of each of the centre’s entrances as well as the installation of integrated seating, improved lighting and wayfinding inside the centre.
