Outlet Shopping at The O2 has announced the opening of three London outlet debuts: global fashion retailer, kate spade new york; men’s fashion brand, Jack & Jones; and authentic American sports and lifestyle brand, New Era. The trio of debuts follows the outlet’s strong start to 2025, underpinning its position as a critical London retail destination and prime outlet location within the UK.

Leading the trio, kate spade new york has made its London outlet debut, with its new store opening at The O2 last week. Sitting adjacent to the main entrance of the outlet, the 2,408sq ft unit is on the upper level and near complementary brands, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and French Connection.

Securing a 4,219sq ft unit adjacent to Radley, Danish retailer Jack & Jones has also opened on the outlet’s upper level, stocking an assortment of menswear with a focus on denim. Jack & Jones’ London outlet debut sits among the destination’s thriving line-up of menswear that includes the likes of Moss, Hackett and Crew Clothing Company.

Finally, New Era joins The O2’s retail line-up for its London outlet debut in a 1,471sq ft unit, joining the likes of Under Armour, Asics, Nike and adidas, further bolstering the destination’s sports-oriented offer. New Era’s new store, situated on the upper level of the outlet, delivers the brand’s extensive line of caps in its collection, including licensed partnerships with teams across MLB, NFL, and NBA.

Coinciding with the trio of opening debuts, Outlet Shopping at The O2 has experienced a strong start to the year, with Q1 sales enjoying an uplift of 8% vs Q1 2024. This included standout performance across footwear, with an uplift of 40% vs Q1 2024. Homeware and sports also exceeded Q1 last year, up 14% and 12% respectively.

Louisa Dalgleish, leasing director at Outlet Shopping at The O2, commented: “Q1 has been an exciting time for Outlet Shopping at The O2, and our performance and leasing activity highlights this in more ways than one. We’ve continued to show that we are the go-to location for outlet debuts, providing an unmatched experience that puts customers at the heart. These new brands not only further extend our customer base and category offers but are a firm indicator of the opportunities we can provide here, being part of an unrivalled destination that continues to succeed year after year.”

Success across the destination has been bolstered by a busy arena diary, with The O2 hosting 48 shows during the first three months of the year, a 9% increase in performances compared to Q1 2024. This included the annual cross-campus country music festival, Country to Country, which attracted over 50,000 fans across the weekend and saw total sales across the Entertainment District and Outlet Shopping at The O2 up 10% vs Q1 2024, and footfall up 7%.

The O2 is looking ahead to an exciting second quarter in 2025, with standout arena performances scheduled from the likes of Sugababes, Chase & Status, Olly Murs, Tyler, The Creator, Kylie, and Usher, who kickstarted on a 10-show residency at The O2 last weekend.
