Wellington Square Shopping Centre in Stockton-on-Tees has welcomed a host of new retailers recently – from well-loved high-street names to specialist brands.

They include Fonehouse, Shoe Zone, Trespass and Footasylum. For Fonehouse owner Anth Williams, joining Wellington Square was a seamless experience. “It has been a pleasure working with the team,” he said. “They made us feel incredibly welcome and quickly helped us settle into the community. The support from Matt, Claire and the team has been exceptional, and we look forward to many successful years here.”

Shoe Zone, another recent arrival, has seen the move pay off immediately. Store manager Julie Abbott said: “Since relocating, our sales have been strong and the increased footfall has made a noticeable difference. Wellington Square offers some of the best support I’ve ever experienced. It’s a fantastic place for a business to grow.”

Area manager for Trespass, Kerry Pearson, added: “We’re delighted to be part of Wellington Square. Stockton’s community loves the outdoors, and we’re excited to bring them style, quality and value just in time for the autumn season.”

Reflecting on the centre’s growth, centre manager Matt Boxall says: “Welcoming Fonehouse, Shoe Zone, Trespass and Footasylum has been a fantastic period for Wellington Square. Each of these stores adds something special to our mix and strengthens our position as Stockton’s premier shopping destination. The momentum is building, and there’s a real buzz throughout the centre.”
